About the new site

Welcome to the new bibeln.se

In collaboration with a number of other Bible societies, we now publish our Bible translations on a platform called BibleBooster. With this cooperation we want to achieve several goals:

In addition to Bible 2000 and the 1917 Church Bible, Biibbal 2019 (the Bible in Northern Sami) and KR92 (the Bible in Finnish) are now available on bibeln.se. We will continuously upload more Bible translations, such as texts from the ongoing NT2026 translation project.
Biblebooster is a partnership that gives Bible societies with limited financial resources access to an affordable platform for publishing Bible texts. Larger Bible societies help carry the smaller ones.
We believe that Biblebooster provides a long-term sustainable solution, which we will enjoy for a relatively long time.
Over time, we will be able to offer many more features in a more future-proof solution. For example, you can already try reading more translations side by side.
To begin with, the "Encyclopedia" section of the previous page is missing, but we expect this to be published in the near future.
